As she grows as an artist in creating solo work, she continues to explore the truths and constructed realities of what it means to be a woman of color navigating old and new territories through sound and space. Her unique past and desire for absolute freedom not only inform her emotive style of singing but also narrate her thought-provoking lyrics, making for a moody, eclectic, joyous, and colorful mixture of soulful expression.
